Governing Body Membership
Welcome to the Governors' section - What does the Governing Body do?
The governing body is responsible, together wth Mrs Moreton and the Senior Leadership Team, for the strategic leadership and management of the school. Governors also carry out particular reponsibilites through sub- committees: finance and staffing, curriculum and health, safety and premises. They establish with Mrs Moreton and the staff, the aims and policies of the school and how standards of education can continue to be improved through the School Development Plan and the use of the school budget. The ensure all curriculum and legal requirements are met.
Full governing body meetings are held three times a year at school.
All governors sign a register of business interests and these are held in school.
Parents wishing to become governors are encouraged to apply when vacancies arise.
